9.6T FABRIC ROUTER
COR580
AS9926-24D
24 x QSFP-DD cell-based fabric ports with Ramon.
Cost-effective, flexible fabric switch for carrier core router applications
Key Features
Overview
The Edgecore COR580 is a high-performance fabric switch for carrier, data center, or transport networking applications. The switch is a 1RU form factor with Broadcom StrataDNX family SoC silicon and consists of 24 x 400GE QSFP-DD Fabric Interfaces (FIF).
Interconnected with the Edgecore COR550 (Jericho2 Leaf), the COR580 can be deployed in a spine and leaf architecture supporting a maximum 24 COR550 leaf interconnections, which forms a complete solution and enables you to build scalable and flexible core network infrastructures providing a total 96 Tbps of bandwidth for routing, packet processing, and efficient traffic management. The COR580 open network fabric switch is loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), which supports the installation of compatible Network Operating System soſtware, including the open source options Open Network Linux, plus commercial NOS offerings.
