Edgecore Networks Introduces the AS4630-54PE – A High-performance 1 GbE Top-of-Rack (TOR) Data Center Switch for Enterprise and Campus Networking
Edgecore Networks, a leading provider of traditional and open network solutions for enterprises, data centers, and telecommunication service providers, is pleased to announce the AS4630-54PE – a high-performance 1 GbE Top-of-Rack (TOR) data center switch for enterprise and campus networking.
The AS4630-54PE features 48 x 1G RJ-45 ports, 4 x 25G SFP28 ports, and 2 x 100G uplinks. The 100G ports are able to support a stacking function depending on the NOS, and the 48 x 1G RJ-45 ports fully support IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
The AS4630-54PE is one of the best solutions for enterprise, hospitality, warehouse applications, and campus networking; it not only includes redundant hot-swappable AC PSUs and port-to-power or power-to-port airflow, but it is also able to provide up to 90 Watts of power per port to attached devices, such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras etc., fully utilizing existing Cat. 6 cable infrastructure. With the advantages of simple configuration and easy maintenance, the AS4630-54PE helps enterprises to deploy a cost-effective open network solution for their data centers, Power-over-Ethernet networks for wireless access and security applications, and campus networks.
