Edgecore Networks, an Accton group company, will exhibit its Best Award Winning products, MetroLinq 10G Tri-band Omni at Computex Taipei, booth A0406, Hall 1, TWTC together with its complete network solutions for data center, service providers, and enterprise users. The MetroLinq 10G Tri-band Omni, under the IgniteNet brand of the Accton group, is the world's first base station integrating 60GHz, 5GHz, and 2.4GHz tri-band into one robust outdoor omni design.
IgniteNet's MetroLinq 10G Tri-band Omni is the world's first cost-effective 60GHz + 5GHz +2.4GHz point-to-multipoint base station enabling high performance, interference-free connections worldwide up to 10Gbps. With a total OTA capacity of 16.393Gbps, it is the first access point capable of providing fiber-like connections to many clients simultaneously, which makes the product an excellent solution for broadband fixed wireless access, 3G/4G/5G backhaul, metro Wi-Fi, campus interconnection, and hybrid fiber/wireless networks. With tri-band radios embedded, the MetroLinq base station offers 360 degree coverage to provide interference-free 60GHz backhaul links in the unlicensed band, while 5GHz serves as failover/client access and 2.4GHz offers client access. The device not only provides multi-Gigabit performance up to 10Gbps capacity, but also offers an innovative planning and setup tool, which helps service providers quickly and easily set up reliable links.
