Edgecore Networks Introduces the Latest Generation Cost-Effective Gigabit Ethernet Web-Smart Switch – ECS2020 Series for SMB and Enterprise Market
Edgecore Networks, a leading provider of traditional and open network solutions for enterprises, data centers, and telecommunication service providers, today announce the latest generation cost-effective web-smart switch – ECS2020 Series. The new Web-Smart ECS2020 Series is designed for SMB markets and provides a complete solution from 10/28ports, including both non-PoE and PoE options. This Series offers complete PoE solutions from 70 W to 190 W for VoIP, surveillance, and Wi-Fi APs.
The new web-smart series includes four models – ECS2020-10T/10P, ECS2020-28T/28P. The switches support 8/24 x 1GbE Base-T ports and 2/4 integrated Gigabit SFP ports. Besides providing more uplink bandwidth, the SFP ports can be used for redundant links. The ECS2020 series can operate at a temperature from 0-500C; the ECS2020-28P includes cooling fans, whereas the ECS2020-10T/10P/28T are fanless designs. This series provides 4KV surge protection on Ethernet ports, which can prevent damage to the network caused by power surges and lightning strikes to meet specific environment needs.
Meanwhile, the new web-smart series designed with very powerful software features, the switches support Web, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and provide CLI operation by telnet connection as well as IPv4 and IPv6 management, and features ensures your network can upgrade from IPv4 to IPv6. This series also supports automatic voice/surveillance VLANs, providing VoIP and IP cameras the optimum network traffic usage. On the other hand, the ECS2020 Series supports multiple languages (TW/CN/English), which enable all users to easily operate the switch.
