To meet the trend and needs for optimized 25 GbE top-of-rack switching, Edgecore AS7312-54XS provides line-rate L2 and L3 switching across the 48 x 25GbE SFP28 with 6 x 100GbE QSFP28, supporting up to 48 x 10/25 GbE, 6 x 40/100 GbE connections. The switch can be deployed as a TOR switch supporting 10/25 GbE to servers with 40/100 GbE uplinks, or as a spine switch supporting 40/100 GbE spine interconnects.
Edgecore AS7312-54XS not only provides advanced quality of service and features integrated hierarchical traffic manager, with a supporting SPI NOR Flash and DDR lll memory up to 16GB, the switch is ideal for the most demanding performance, scale and reliability requirements. The AS7312-54XS comes with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), supporting Open Network Linux (ONL), as well as compatible with commercial software, such as Cumulus® Linux® r3.6 and later version.
